American Ballroom Dance Club is the Charlotte area's most fun and exciting dance studio featuring dance lessons for singles and couples. Give your star partner the most special gift of all. It's time to learn something together that is fun, healthy and time well spent together.
Private lessons: you will begin learning the dances of your choice. There are about 15 we teach. You will definitely want to concentrate on about 2-3 at first. As you learn and attend more classes, you will add more dances to your repertoire. It is very important to follow up and review your private lessons because this is where you will receive the special attention you need to improve rapidly.
Group classes: involves one instructor who teaches a group of students. Focus is on learning specific patterns. You learn how to become light on your feet, good at patterns and become easy to dance with. Practice sessions: practices are designed to give the student an opportunity to practice together in a party atmosphere under the instructor's watchful supervision. This is necessary so all questions can be answered by the instructor.
Group classes and practice sessions are always Tuesday's at 8pm. Ted and Kim own and operate American Ballroom Dance club and specialize in teaching social dancing to beginners through advanced. Their mission with the club is to offer the absolute best training and services for the most reasonable price. The instruction and service is of the highest caliber and membership has grown to over 60 students. Our students are mature adults ranging in age from 30 and up and teach both singles and couples.
